In the book of James, we are exhorted to &quot;pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective&quot; (James 5:16). In Acts 2, Peter stands before a crowd of bewildered onlookers and delivers a powerful sermon, declaring, &quot;Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit&quot; (Acts 2:38). Through mentorship, discipleship programs, and leadership development initiatives, clergy nurture the gifts and talents of their congregants, encouraging them to step into their own roles as ambassadors of Christ in the world.
